Rod's Appliance Repair is an independent in-home appliance repair service for the Houston area. We cover Harris, Fort Bend and Montgomery counties. That includes Houston itself, the suburbs around it, and smaller unincorporated communities that often get left off service lists.
We work on refrigerators, freezers, ice makers, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens and ranges, cooktops, microwaves and range hoods. We repair Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, GE, Maytag, KitchenAid, Frigidaire, Bosch, Kenmore and most other major brands in houses, apartments, condos and townhomes.

Harris County
Harris County is the biggest part of our map: the city of Houston and its neighborhoods, plus suburbs and unincorporated communities such as Cypress, Spring, Katy, Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Pasadena, Pearland, Friendswood, Baytown and the Clear Lake area.
Homes here range from older inside-the-loop bungalows and ranch houses to newer master-planned subdivisions, townhomes, apartments and high-rise condos. In older houses we often find shared kitchen circuits, tight laundry closets and long-unused shut-off valves. In newer ones, long dryer vents, upstairs laundry and kinked ice maker lines come up often. Near the bay and Clear Lake, humidity is hard on door gaskets and dryers.

Fort Bend County
In Fort Bend County we work in Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Fulshear and the communities around them, including Sienna, Pecan Grove, Greatwood, New Territory, Four Corners and Weston Lakes.
Much of Fort Bend is newer subdivisions with large refrigerators, gas or electric ranges, and laundry rooms upstairs or off the garage. Long dryer vent runs and builder-grade installs are common causes of trouble. Farther out toward Fulshear, Needville and Simonton, larger lots, well water and storm-related outages also come into play.

Montgomery County
In Montgomery County we cover The Woodlands, Conroe, Magnolia, Montgomery, Willis, New Caney, Porter, Splendora and the smaller communities in between.
The Woodlands and newer Conroe and Magnolia subdivisions have the same long dryer vents and garage refrigerators we see across the newer suburbs. In older parts of Conroe and in rural areas, older wiring, well water and long supply lines matter, and summer heat is hard on garage freezers.
